Joined the fandom early 2011. IRL, When interacting with people I'm not familiar with, I am an extremely "shy" person (read: diagnosed w/ social anxiety/GAD) In one-on-one conversations or in small groups I tend to open up a bit. But it's not until I've really gotten to know someone that I feel completely comfortable speaking my mind. When I've gotten into one-on-one conversations with people, I've been told that I seem like a completely different person, when they've only ever known me as "the quiet one." Don't know what to make of that..

Anyways, just making some new friends would be nice, and then if it moved beyond that that would be OK to, but that's not a priority. I don't like the idea of traditional "dating". A relationship should just be an evolution of a deep friendship.

What I learned from MLP?
MLP has helped me rediscover my creative side, which I lost touch with some time during high school or college. (2017 Update: I've basically lost touch with it again...)
Why I like MLP?
The characters, the animation, the writing and stories, the music (both Daniel Ingram's songs AND William Anderson's excellent background music)
