What I learned from MLP?

That we are, on our own, incapable of the things that make life wondeful. Things, power, none of this will ever match that magic that is friendship.

Why I like MLP?

It's a show that is earnest. It doesn't hide in cynicism, and the fandom for the most part embraces that earnestness. Fan creations are made with passion and open creativity, pursuing the tropes instead of rejecting them.
